Heil unveil PR31 BW

Heil Sound have released a new dynamic microphone called the PR31 BW. This newcomer features the same components as the existing PR30, but the chassis has been shrunk down to a compact four inches, making the mic much easier to position.

With a rear rejection of 40dB, and a maximum SPL handling capability of 150dB, it would seem to be ideal for drum miking. Apparently already in use for miking such bands as Alice In Chains and the Stone Temple Pilots, the Heil PR31 BW carries an RRP of £209.95.
