Press Release: Kinsman are pleased to announce the addition of the new KM8FX and KM12FX Stereo Mixers to their Kinsman amplification range.
Incorporating 8 and12 channels respectively, these mixers have a host of features normally found on much more expensive units, such as built in digital effects (with optional remote switching via a standard latching footswitch) and 48V phantom power.
Each mixer has 4 dedicated XLR mic/1/4” jack line socket channels with individual gain controls and 75Hz low cut switch. A 3 band rotary eq of high, mid and low is provided across the channels as well as individual EFX and left/right balance controls. An LED indicator light warns of any peaking (this also doubles as an isolation indicator when ’solo’ button is engaged on the KM12FX).
2 stereo input channels (doubling to four on the KM12FX) give the user flexibility to add playback or line level signals, whilst headphone and control room outputs give the user essential monitoring.
The KM12FX also provides the option of sending each channel to a dedicated sub with its own independent master slider - ideal for submixing drums, backing vocals.
The onboard digital effects include Hall, Room and Plate reverbs, Delay, Echo as well as Chorus, Phaser, Flanger and even Auto Wah, Rotary Speaker and Tremolo, with parameter and master level controls. Both units are powered by the included 14v AC power supply.
Priced at just £159.99 (KM8FX) and £269.99 (KM12FX) the new Kinsman Mixers are an affordable solution to a number of audio applications including bands, DJs and home use.
