Made To Create: Novation live video series

Three more sessions lined up, plus an afterparty performance

Novation Made To Create

Novation's Made To Create programme is a week-long series of free daily online events, spanning artist interviews, music business seminars, product demos and technology chats, all streamed to the company's YouTube and Facebook pages.

The series has already offered glimpses into the working practices of London-based producer Tev'n, Novation Launchkey designer Danny Nugent and product manager Hugh Lobley, and 'machine music whisperer' Ehsan Gelsi, but if you missed those, there are still three more events coming up, plus an afterparty (more below).

Tonight (Tuesday 30th June), you'll get the chance to hear from artist managers and A&R professionals about their experiences running worldwide electronic record labels, and get their tips on releasing and publishing your own music.

On Wednesday 1st July, you'll be treated to a live performance from Novation artist -CALC-, who'll be playing an experimental breakbeat/ambient/lo-fi set using Novation gear and Ableton Live.

Thursday's session (2nd July) will focus on visuals, and will be hosted by a collection of world-famous visual artists, creative directors and musical directors talking about their experiences of adding groundbreaking visuals to live shows and performances.

Finally, the afterparty (Friday 3rd July) will be based around an exclusive live performance by Cambridge-based singer-songwriter Kyan, whose music — which has been described as “retro-futuristic soul” — has earned him high praise from prolific musician and producer Nile Rodgers.

All of the events will take place at 8 PM BST (12 PM PDT), and no registration is required — just head over to their YouTube or Facebook pages.
