Miniature shotgun microphone from DPA

CORE 4097 is intended for interview & broadcast use

DPA 4097

DPA have released a miniature shotgun microphone, based around their acclaimed 4000-series electret capsule and incorporating their CORE preamplification technology.

Designed for broadcast and interview work, the 4097 CORE Micro Shotgun Microphone is indeed very small (hardly any larger than their 4099 instrument mics), but still manages house an interference tube to achieve a supercardioid polar pattern. DPA tell us that the mic can handle high SPLs, is resistant to moisture, extreme temperatures and humidity, and is compatible with all of the 4099 mic's mounting options.

Available to purchase now, the 4097 CORE Micro Shotgun Microphone costs €390 excluding local VAT (applicable in Europe), and also comes in a range of kits depending on your intended application.
