MPG to push for covid-19 relief

The Music Producers Guild has launched a survey for both members and non-members alike, with the aim of assessing the impact that the coronavirus will have on music producers, studio owners, mixing and mastering engineers, and other industry professionals.

Although the UK government has already announced a number of measures for business owners and sole traders, the MPG intend to lobby for more assistance, with income replacement for self-employed producers/engineers and a business-rates holiday for studio premises among the Guild's stated aims.
