The Slate Companies are coming to London, UK for a day of recording clinics, production courses, and mixing seminars with top industry pros. Joining founder Steven Slate will be multi-Grammy-winning producer/mixer/ engineer Rik SImpson (Coldplay, Jay-Z), Michalis “MsM” Michael (Skepta, Ed Sheeran) and house legend D. Ramirez.
See and hear demonstrations of the highly anticipated VRS8 Virtual Recording Studio and the RAVEN line of Multi-Touch Recording Consoles, along with Slate Digital's lineup of world class plugins. Attendees will also get to try the new Slate Virtual Recording Studio Gear first hand.
Hosted by the Slate Companies and SX Pro, the first annual Slate Fest Europe will be held in London at the world famous Metropolis Studios on Saturday June 24th. The free event booked up in record time — less than five minutes — but Slate have expanded the waitlist and are currently working with the venue to expand capacity.
Guests can look forward to:
- Rik Simpson (Coldplay, Jay Z, Portishead, Kasabian) producing, recording, mixing and mastering a live rock band before your eyes, while explaining his techniques and workflow.
- Michalis "MsM" Michael (Skepta, Professor Green, Chipmunk, Ed Sheeran, P.Diddy, Drake) taking you through a Hip Hop/Grime mix featuring a special guest artist.
- D.Ramirez walking you through a brand new track, produced from concept to completion on the Raven using the Slate Digital 'Everything Bundle'.
