Steve Lillywhite Scholarship at Confetti Institute

Open to applications from UK-based students

Confetti Institute of Creative Technology Steve Lillywhite Scholarship Music Production MA

Confetti Institute of Creative Technologies have announced the launch of the Steve Lillywhite Scholarship, which aims to provide exceptional opportunities for UK-based students pursuing a career in music production. As its name suggests, the scholarship has been created in collaboration with Steve Lillywhite, a six-time Grammy-winning producer who has worked with the likes of Peter Gabriel, XTC, Dave Matthews Band, Talking Heads, The Rolling Stones, U2 and The Killers.

The opportunity is open to all UK students applying to the MA Music Production course at Confetti's campuses in Nottingham and London, and includes fully-funded tuition fees along with personalised one-to-one mentoring sessions with Steve. Students will also benefit from Confetti’s partnership with Tileyard, a creative hub that is home to over 200 music businesses and houses more than 150 private recording studios.

"I’m deeply committed to nurturing the future of music production, and I’m excited about the prospect of working closely with a deserving student at Confetti, helping them take significant strides in their career." - Steve Lillywhite

To be eligible for consideration, applicants must hold an offer to study on the MA Music Production course at Confetti and be classified as a Home student. The application process requires the submission of three streamable tracks along with a written submission (maximum of 500 words) outlining the applicant's contributions to the tracks and explaining why the scholarship would be beneficial to them. Alternatively, applicants may submit a short video via a private YouTube link.

Applications for the Steve Lillywhite Scholarship are open now. More information can be found on the Confetti website.
