Alcons Audio update M-Series monitors

Upcoming systems on show at GearFest UK 2024

Alcons Audio M-Series high-end studio reference monitors

Last year’s GearFest UK saw Dutch pro-audio manufacturer Alcons Audio preview an early iteration of the M-Series, a collection of reference monitor systems designed for near and mid-field studio applications and multi-channel immersive audio systems. After gathering feedback on the proof of concept, the company are returning for a second year to present their latest developments in one of Tileyard’s studios.

The company say that their objective with the range is to raise the benchmark for monitoring in terms of dynamic capabilities, depth of field, imaging and audio resolution. Each model employs a number of Alcons’ own technologies including their Pro-Ribbon and ActiveCoil transducers, HempHorn waveguides and ScoopVent low-frequency extension methods, allowing them to deliver a consistent experience across systems of different sizes.

Alcons Audio are no strangers to the high-end audio world, with some of their existing systems occupying post-productions facilities such as STMPD studios Amsterdam, Blazing Griffin studios Glasgow, Bleat Post Production London, Levels Audio studios Hollywood, Eikon Studios London and Los Angeles, Technicolor London and Factory Studios London, as well as studios run by the likes of Walt Disney, Deluxe Digital, Universal Pictures and YouTube.

If you’re not able to come along to GearFest UK yourself, we’ll be having a chat to Alcons Audio at the show, so keep an eye on our Facebook and Instagram pages to check out what’s new.

More information on the M-Series monitors can be found on the Alcons Audio website.
