Apogee have announced the launch of the Symphony Studio Series, a new range of audio interfaces that they say have been designed to empower artists, producers and engineers with the the legendary Apogee sound and performance while offering extraordinary value. Comprising three products that offer a variety of I/O configurations, the new line-up caters to traditional studio setups as well as offering a no-compromise entry point to immersive mixing.

Key Features

Apogee Symphony Studio Channel Strip EQ dynamics saturation plug-inOnboard DSP means that EQ, dynamics and saturation can be applied to the interfaces' inputs using the Apogee Symphony Studio Channel Strip plug-in.All of the new interfaces boast the same technical performance, differing only in the amount of I/O available and monitoring formats supported. The built-in mic preamps offer 75dB of clean gain, and each input benefits from Symphony Studio Channel Strip, a powerful input DSP plug-in that offers a range of analogue-style EQ, compression and saturation processing at near-zero latency.

The interfaces also include some comprehensive monitoring control capabilities thanks to Apogee’s Control 2 software application, and DSP at the output stage means that users can fine-tune their setup using the Symphony Studio’s onboard Room EQ, Bass Management and Speaker Delay functions. For those who prefer a physical controller, the interface’s can be paired with the optional Apogee Control Remote, which is equipped with eight customisable buttons that can be used to adjust levels and recall different monitoring setups.

Thanks to class-compliant USB-C connectivity, the Studio Symphony Series offer plug-and-play compatibility with both Windows and macOS systems.
