Eventide have announced the launch of the next-generation versions of their H3000-inspired DAW plug-ins. H3000 Factory MkII and H3000 Band Delay MkII both sport a redesigned GUI and feature brand new modelling of the A-D and D-A stages of the original H3000 hardware, promising to provide users with the most authentic recreation of the classic unit possible.
H3000 Factory MkII
The first of the two plug-ins concentrates on pitch-shifting, delay and modulation effects, and comes loaded with over 600 presets aimed at both music production and sound design. A range of effects blocks consisting of delays, amplitude modulators, pitch-shifters, filters, envelope followers and more are present, and thanks to the plug-in’s modular design, users are able to freely combine up to 18 of them at once to create detailed effects patches. As well as emulating the sound of the original unit’s converters, the plug-in’s collection of filters have also been designed to replicate its resonances and self-oscillation behaviour.
H3000 Band Delay MkII
As its name suggests, the second plug-in is dedicated to filtered delays, and comes equipped with eight bands that can be used to create a wide variety of filtering, stereo widening, delay and rhythmic effects. Each band features level, panning, frequency, filter type and Q parameters, with a large display section offering detailed visual feedback over the effect’s settings and behaviour. Over 100 presets are included, and as with H3000 Factory MkII, the plug-in faithfully replicates the circuitry of the original unit.

Compatibility
The new plug-ins are supported on PCs running Windows 8 and above, and Macs running macOS 10.9 or higher. VST3, AU and AAX plug-in versions are available.
