Flux Audio have released MiRA, a powerful new tool for detailed audio analysis. Designed for mixing, mastering, system calibration and loudness metering, MiRA replaces Flux’s previous analysis products. This new solution offers multi-channel immersive audio support among a suite of cutting-edge features.
Built for both live and studio environments, MiRA introduces a streamlined approach to real-time monitoring and measurement. The software is available in three specialised variants, each tailored to a different professional situation:
- MiRA Session – Designed for mixing and loudness metering, this version provides precise spectrum analysis, LUFS metering for compliance with industry standards and real-time level monitoring. It also features the Nebula Scope, a unique stereo field analyser that helps engineers maintain clarity and balance across the frequency spectrum.
- MiRA Studio – The first immersive audio analyser, supporting up to 24 channels for formats like Dolby Atmos, Auro-3D, and NHK 22.2. It includes multi-channel spectrograms, vector scope analysis and Adaptive Resolution Transform (ART) for real-time transfer function measurements. The Nebula 3D Spectrogram provides deep insight into spatial audio, making it a helpful tool for immersive mixing and post-production.
- MiRA Live – A system tuning and live mixing companion, built for real-time transfer function analysis, SPL metering, impulse response measurement and delay computation for up to 23 microphones. It introduces pairing mode, which enhances capture accuracy between floor and ear-level microphones, ensuring phase coherence and optimal tuning in large-scale live sound environments.
For those seeking the complete package, MiRA Ultimate bundles all three versions, providing a comprehensive and versatile analysis suite.
