Kontakt instrument combines old and new electronic drum sounds

Sound-design gurus Sub51 have released a new drum loop instrument for Kontakt, called Mechanik.
Comprising 100 tempo-sync'ed loops, Mechanik's drum sounds are based on those made famous by such diverse electronic artists as Kraftwerk and Daft Punk, and include slice-mapped versions so that you can easily incorporate them into your own works.
The interface allows adjustment of Mechanik's built-in filter, lo-fi, tape saturation, envelope and compression processors, as well as staple effects like reverb and delay.
Mechanik comes as a 370MB download, and is available now. Its normal price is £19.95, but for a limited time it'll be available for just £14.96.
