It's not every day you get the chance to win a record contract, but that's exactly what Focusrite are doing with their latest competition. They've teamed up with Caroline Records of Universal Music Group to offer one talented YouTube performer the recording contract of a lifetime. All entrants have to do is to record and upload a YouTube video of themselves singing and performing an original song on an instrument, and submit it through the competition page.
The competition will run from March 10th to June 10th, 2015. At that point, a panel of judges will pick 10 eligible performers that show the most potential. The judges at Focusrite will then hand them over to the team at Universal, who will then pick the winner.
There is no entrance fee, nor a requirement to use a specific piece of kit (although, Focusrite obviously recommend the iTrack Pocket!).
