Denise Audio release Perfect Room 2

Transparent reverb plug-in enhanced & improved

Denise Audio Perfect Room 2 natural transparent reverb plug-in

Denise Audio have announced that the latest version of their best-selling reverb plug-in is now available. Launched with the help of new owners Baby Audio, Perfect Room 2 expands on the Dynamic Room Response engine found in the original version, promising to deliver ultra-clean reverbs with enhanced tonal control.

As with the original plug-in, Perfect Room two has been designed to create transparent-sounding reverbs that enhance the source material without intruding on the original sound. The Dynamic Room Response engine works by creating a mathematically ideal acoustic simulation, resulting in a clean reverb tail that is free from resonances and harsh reflections. A set of parameters allow users to ‘shape’ the simulated room, with no need to toggle between different modes or audition impulse response files.

Despite the focus on transparency, Denise Audio say that the plug-in isn’t limited by physical reality, and is capable of crafting everything from subtle ambiences to more extreme, evolving reverbs. Its capable of processing up to 10 seconds of decay time, and now feature a new Attack control that allows the reverb to gradually build up over time, and there’s also a Reverse function for those in search of less natural-sounding effects.

What’s New?

Here’s an overview of all of the new features added in the latest version of Perfect Room:

  • Zero-latency processing.
  • Core engine and sound quality improvements .
  • Improved CPU performance and a new ECO mode that offers even lower usage at the expense of increased latency.
  • Reverb engine updates in real time in response to parameter changes.
  • Major GUI overhaul.
  • Built-in five-band EQ for detailed frequency shaping.
  • New Attack parameter to control reverb onset.
  • Length, Pre-delay and Attack parameters are now tempo-sync’able.
  • Continuous decay and frequency profile in place of Perfect Room 1’s stepped operation.
  • New Halo feature that isolates high or low frequencies in the reverb tail and extends their decay beyond the set reverb length.
  • Improved pitch modulation with perfectly random variations.
  • New Preset Lock function.
