KRK have introduced the GoAux 3 and GoAux 4, two new compact monitoring systems that offer a portable solution to engineers, DJs, producers, and artists of all musical genres. Both models are said to deliver the same natural and balanced response as the company’s larger systems, and are equipped with Bluetooth capability to allow users to connect wirelessly to their computer, smartphone, or other Bluetooth-capable audio devices.
The monitors are a bi-amplified two-way design, and both models utilise glass aramid drivers (the GoAux 3 uses a 3-inch version, whilst the GoAux 4 features a four-inch model) which are paired with a one-inch soft textile dome tweeter and housed in a durable ABS cabinet, which is rear-ported to allow for an extended low-end response. Built-in low- and high-frequency EQ controls are present, allowing users to tailor the response to the room or personal preference.
Both models offer inputs on 3.5mm mini-jack and RCA connectors, whilst the GoAux 4 is also equipped with balanced inputs via quarter-inch TRS connectors and a USB input. The GoAux 4 is also supplied with a measurement microphone, which can be used alongside a built-in Automatic Room Correction feature to optimise the system’s response to the acoustic environment. Each model also features a headphone output via a 3.5mm mini-jack socket on the front panel, which automatically mutes the monitors when in use.
The GoAux 3 and GoAux 4 both come supplied as a pair with adjustable isolating stands, power and speaker cables, and a carrying bag included.
