Heritage Audio have announced the launch of a desktop-mounted switcher unit that allows users to quickly toggle between 10 stereo line-level sources.
The Synth Buddy features a passive design so requires no power, and is said to offer a completely clean signal path that introduces no colouration to the connected instruments. All of the I/O is provided by quarter-inch TS sockets, while a large central top-panel selector switch allows any of the 10 connected inputs to be routed to the unit’s output connectors. Although it’s primarily designed to switch between multiple inputs, the Synth Buddy can also be used in reverse, allowing a single signal to be quickly routed to multiple outputs at the turn of a knob.
All of the Synth Buddy's connectivity is provided by quarter-inch TS sockets placed on the unit's rear panel.
