Native Instruments have announced that the latest version of their all-in-one software instrument and effects bundle is available to pre-order. Komplete 15 will come packed with an array of new titles including Kontakt 8, iZotope Ozone 11 Standard, Guitar Rig 7 Pro and many more.
Kontakt 8, Guitar Rig 7 Pro & Ozone 11 Standard
Just a year after the release of Kontakt 7, Native Instruments have made another significant update to their ever-popular sampling platform, which will include new Chords and Phrases tools, interactive idea-generating tools and a new wavetable modulation engine. Guitar Rig 7 Pro then brings together a huge selection of guitar and bass amp simulations, along with an array of studio effects and pedal models, while iZotope Ozone 11 Standard kits users out with a collection of intuitive mastering tools.
New Instruments
The company have introduced a selection of new instruments, as well as adding more of their current line-up to the bundles. Here’s a list of what’s new to Komplete, along with NI’s descriptions:
- Kithara: a cinematic collection of guitars and plucked string instruments transformed with creative performance techniques and lush sound design.
- Fables: Weave stories through sound with an immersive cinematic ensemble library for scoring and production.
- Valves Pro: Soft and evolving trombone, flugelhorn, French Horn, tuba, and euphonium sounds, with an expanded library of articulations.
- Vocal Colors: An expressive vocal engine that infuses the emotion of the human voice with inventive modulation features.
- Schema: Dark & Light Dark and destructive pulses meet lush, melodic patterns in this duo of melodic sequencer plugins.
- Action Woodwinds: The true-to-life sound of a full orchestral woodwind ensemble with a vast range of phrases and articulations.
- Alicia's Electric Keys: Discover Alicia Keys’ personal CP-70 electric grand piano loaded with her own custom effects chains.
- Acoustic Sunburst Deluxe: Strummed and plucked tones from a premium jumbo acoustic guitar, with over 250 patterns and an additional melody instrument.
- Upright Bass: The deep, organic low end of a stunning upright bass handcrafted in Mittenwald in the 1970s.
- Session Percussionist: An intuitive drum and percussion library with over 2000 customisable patterns and an advanced step sequencer.
- Play Series Instruments: From hip hop and R&B to house and techno, Play Series instruments deliver outstanding sound quality in an easy-to-use interface.
- Expansion Sound Packs: Created by top artists and sound designers, Expansions are genre-focused sound packs loaded with synth presets, drum kits, one-shots, samples, and loops.
As before, the bundle is available in Standard, Ultimate and Collector’s Edition versions. Standard includes over 95 instruments and effects along with more than 50 expansions, while Ultimate increases the count to over 150 and 80, and Collector’s Edition takes things to the extreme with over 165 instruments and effects and more than 120 expansions.
Compatibility
Komplete 15 will be supported on PCs running Windows 10 or 11, and Macs running macOS 12 and above. The included plug-ins and instruments will be available as VST3, AU and AAX plug-ins. As you’d expect, the software benefits from advanced integration with Native Instruments’ Kontrol and Maschine hardware controllers.
