Berlin-based DSP experts zplane.development have announced élastiqueAAX, a brand new time and pitch manipulation plug-in designed exclusively for Pro Tools.
The new élastiqueAAX uses the élastiquePro V3 time-stretching and pitch shifting engine which is integrated into many DAWs and used by millions of users around the world. According to zplane, the technology "ensures the highest, program independent time-stretching quality."
The plug-in interface has been designed to allow quick and intuitive interaction with all parameters for maximum control, and because it is an offline AudioSuite plugin, it allows you to apply time-stretching and pitch-shifting much faster than in real-time.
Among élastiqueAAX’s features is multi-channel support for synchronous pitching of up to 8 audio channels, and handy presets for typical film pull-up/pull-down tasks.
The new plug-in supports sample rates between 32kHz and 192kHz and allows 25%-400% stretching of audio. You can also pitch audio ± 24 semi-tones or 25-400% with the 'Formant preservation’ feature.
The élastiqueAAX plug-in has a regular price of $399/EUR 399, but if you buy within the first 30 days, you’ll save $100/EUR 100.
