Sound Radix have announced that they are to be honoured with a Scientific and Engineering Award (Academy Plaque) for their popular Auto-Align Post 2 plug-in.
Earlier in 2025, The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences revealed that 14 scientific and technical achievements, represented by 37 individual award recipients, will be honoured at its annual Scientific and Technical Awards ceremony, which has been rescheduled to Tuesday 29 April 2025 and will take place at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures.
The award will be presented to Sound Radix’s Nir Averbuch, Yair Chuchem and Dan Raviv for the concept, design and development of the company’s renowned plug-in. Auto Align Post 2 allows users to seamlessly blend multiple moving microphones during film post-production, eliminating phase distortion, saving significant time compared to manual alignment techniques and raising the reproduction quality of dialogue recorded on set.
More information about the Auto-Align family can be found on the Sound Radix website.
