The M97 is a striking-looking boutique variable-mu compressor from Electronaut.
Probably the most famous variable-mu compressors to date are those made by Fairchild, but when designing the M97, Rob Roy Campbell decided to address some of the key limitations of earlier vari-mu designs.
We caught up with him at the AES Convention today in New York to find out more.
