Arturia have unveiled the first major update for their AstroLab stage keyboard. The AstroLab 1.3 update introduces six new and updated instruments, along with 290 new presets, including tributes to iconic artists such as Tame Impala, Queen, and Massive Attack. This update also delivers performance improvements and bug fixes to enhance the keyboard’s integration with Analog Lab.

Among the new instruments included in the update are Acid V, MiniFreak V, Augmented BRASS, and Augmented WOODWINDS, as well as revamped versions of the Mini V and Wurli V engines from Arturia's V Collection X. With these additions, AstroLab users gain access to a broader range of sounds and greater flexibility in creating custom patches. The update also features 200 new presets drawn from the new instruments, alongside 90 artist tribute presets.
In addition to the firmware update, Arturia is offering AstroLab users a permanent upgrade option. This offer allows users to purchase V Collection X and Pigments at discounted prices of $199 and $99, respectively.
