Audient have announced the release of an update that brings some new remote control functionality to their ORIA immersive audio interface. With ORIA Control V1.2 installed, users can now use their Elgato Stream Deck and Avid EUCON surfaces to control their units in addition to the existing iPad option.
Stream Deck and EUCON controller owners now benefit from direct control over everything from adjusting their interface’s levels or toggling output mute and dim functions, to auditioning speaker groups, switching calibration profiles and viewing real-time metering. An additional feature introduced in the update is the ability to back up ORIA Calibration Profiles locally, something which Audient’s Andrew Allen says will be of particular use to larger facilities where settings are easily tampered with.
