Roland have announced the launch of BGM Cast, a new music service available through their Bridge Cast companion app and Roland Cloud that provides royalty-free music and sound effects for live streamers.
The service extends the Bridge Cast app’s set of audio tools, offering users with integrated access to a high-quality music library. Everything is managed from within the app, eliminating the need for any third-party music services and any audio routing complications that using them may bring.
A large variety of music is on offer with many different musical genres to choose from, and once a category has been selected, a curated playlist will be streamed continuously without any interruption. The playlist can be customised as it is playing, with users able to add tracks to their favourites or remove them from the playlist all from within the Bridge Cast app. As well as music, the service also includes a selection of sound effects, and all of the content is completely royalty-free with no usage limit.
A free Roland Account provides access to 36 background music tracks, and 16 sound effects that can be used without charge. Signing up for a Roland Cloud Core membership then unlocks thousands of additional music tracks and hundreds of extra sound effects.

BGM Cast is available now, and is provided for free for users of the Roland Bridge Cast with the latest app update. It is also available for users of other devices priced at $2.99 per month via Roland Cloud.
