Buso Audio’s Console line-up comprises a range of studio desks designed to neatly house a variety of popular mixing consoles and control surfaces. The latest addition to the family has just been announced, and this time, it’s the turn of the Avid S4.
The new desk is capable of accommodating eight, 16- and 24-fader S4 configurations in its central cutout, which is enclosed by a pair of 19U angled racks. There’s a shelf running along the top of the desk that can be used for speakers and/or screens, while a surface in front of the racks and console bay leaves room for a mouse, keyboard and any other desktop devices. It’s possible to specify the unit with a height-adjustable sliding shelf that can accommodate up to an 88-note controller keyboard, as well as an additional pair of 10U racks underneath the desktop.
The console can be ordered with either a white or black finish, and with beech or cherry end cheeks. It’s constructed from sustainable material, and comes supplied with rack rails and nuts.
