Ambient’s latest audio technology accessory offers a simple solution to a problem that many users have encountered when using Sennheiser’s current range of handheld wireless microphones: the use of large windshields or branded flags obstructing the Push-To-Talk function switch, or obscuring the view of the built-in display. The company’s new Flag Extensions have been developed to extend the length of the microphone’s body, allowing the use of these larger accessories whilst avoiding the operational problems they can cause.
The Flag Extensions simply screw into place between the capsule assembly and microphone body.Supplied in a pack of two, offering the choice of a 30 or 45 mm extension, the Flag Extensions simply screw into place between the capsule and body assemblies, providing a secure hold and maintaining a reliable connection between the two components. The company say that they feature a robust construction, and have been designed to stand up to the demands of stage performances and live events. The adaptors are compatible with Sennheiser’s current range of handheld transmitters, such as the SKM 6000 / 9000 and the EW-D SKM-S.
