Following their successful 'DAWg Day Afternoon 2' in April, US retailers audiomidi.com are holding an event especially for film and television composers.
The event, called the 'Film & TV Composition Clinic', will involve many of the industry’s digital audio software and hardware vendors showing their latest and greatest in sound libraries, audio interfaces and speakers for the film and TV community. There will also be gear demonstrations, Q&A sessions with a panel of professional composers, as well as great deals and giveaways.
AudioMIDI.com say that the Film & TV Composition Clinic is "ideal for film and television composers of all levels, from aspiring beginner to seasoned veteran". Exhibitors will include Apple, Apogee, Ilio, Native Instruments, Yellow Tools, Steinberg, Mark Of The Unicorn, Antelope Audio, JBL, Equator Audio, Euphonix, Celemony, Audio Impressions and ADAM Professional Audio.
The event will take place at AudioMIDI.com's facility in Chatsworth, California (see the map below), between 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM on July 26th, 2008. Refreshments and snacks will be provided, and there's free parking.
