Two of Fender's much-loved classics, the Jaguar and Jazzmaster, have been given a serious going over by Fender's ever-restless design team, re-emerging as three new models — the Classic Player Jazzmaster Special, the Jaguar Special and the Jazzmaster Special HH.
The Classic Player Jazzmaster Special gains hotter pickups, a new 'Adjusto-Matic' bridge, a 9.5-inch fingerboard radius and a neck pocket "with increased back angle for improved stability and sustain", according to Fender.
The Classic Player Jaguar Special guitar gets essentially the same updates, but the new Classic Player Jaguar Special HH guitar gets the turbocharger treatment, gaining a pair of humbuckers connected to a blendable coil tap.
All three carry an RRP of £699.
