Leeds Met Music Educators' Forum

Music technology education event in association with JAMES
Leeds Metropolitan University are to hold a free event for Music Educators at their £2million facility on the Headingley Campus.

The event is aimed at educators, musicians and music technologists from universities, colleges, schools and local community groups, but anyone with an interest in music technology education can attend.

The one-day forum will consist of a series of seminars delivered by six panel members from JAMES (Joint Audio Media Education Services — see below), workshops and the opportunity to network with colleagues from further and higher education and the music industry.

It will take place at the Acre Room, Leeds Metropolitan University, Headingley Campus, Beckett Park, Leeds, LS6 3QS on Tuesday the 1st July between 9:30am and 7pm.

JAMES is a combined initiative by the Association of Professional Recording Services (ARPS), the Music Producers Guild (MPG) and the UK Screen Association (UK Screen). These are the main organisations representing the recording industry, audio post-production, manufacturers and sound engineers. JAMES aims to provide industry support to educationalists, institutions and students.
