Press Release: The best music comes from collaboration. Even the great solo artists did not create their masterpieces in isolation. Michael Jackson couldn’t have made Thriller without Quincy Jones. Dylan’s Blonde on Blonde wouldn’t be the record it is without Robbie Robertson and the other Nashville musicians who played on it.
Next March 2015, Pro7ect (pronounced Project 7), is taking over the Hotel Pelirocco in Brighton, to help musicians , producers and songwriters make their own inspired collaborations.
For 5 days, they will live in the England’s most Rock n’ Roll hotel. With three pop-up recording studios, a live music venue and 19 themed rooms, the Pelirocco will provide the perfect environment for creativity.
The artists will work in writing teams, to tight deadlines, replicating the method that built the Brill Building, Motown, Stax and the other legendary songwriting hothouses.
- Five nights full board & accommodation.
- Three pop-up studios with dedicated producers/engineers.
- Evening networking events and informal industry lead discussions.
- Live music and performance opportunities.
Prices for the week are based on the room size and sharing options- ranging from £1700 for the super-deluxe (Krakens Lair) to £1500 deluxe double room with sea views to £850 for shared accommodation.
