Custom-fit feel promised in generic housing

Fender have announced a brand new range of in-ear monitors featuring a few intriguing developments that they claim will make their in-ears feel like a custom fit.

The first is the housing themselves which have been designed based on a huge number of MRI scans of ears. They say that their generic housing will fit 99% of people, including children. Also, their proprietary tips are designed to mould to the shape your ear canal over time.

The range features new models ranging in price from the entry level Nine ($99) (£89), which features a 9.25mm driver only, going right up to the top-of-the-range Thirteen-6 ($1799) (£1549) which features a 13.6mm driver and six balanced armatures.
