Acustica Audio have announced the release of the latest two expansion volumes for their Silver reverb plug-in, adding a total of 36 new emulations from two different hardware reverb devices.
Volume M
Volume M includes 22 emulations based on a Klark-Teknik DN 780 Digital Reverberator / Processor, a device which Acustica say offers unique and incredible reverberations that cannot be found elsewhere, providing users with a unique and flexible means of producing realistic acoustic simulations for environments of all types and sizes.
The company say that these characteristics make the device extremely useful in a thick rock or pop mix, and that Volume M is a good addition to Silver for those who are fans of natural and transparent reverbs but still wish to give their source material some more character.
Volume N
Volume N consists of 14 emulations based on Yamaha’s SPX900 Professional Multi-Effects Processor unit. Acustica have focused on sampling the device’s 14 reverbs, which include a selection of Hall, Room, Vocal, Plate, Echo Room, and Gate types. Volume N promises to deliver clean sounding reverbs and to encourage users to experiment with creating new sounds, with the company describing the results as “classic, lush, and realistic emulations”.
