JTC Guitar Hero Ballads album cover.

Jam Track Central (JTC) have announced the launch of Guitar Hero Ballads. Their first original album features eleven brand new, exclusive ballad tracks from a star-studded lineup of their own artists. Also, in true JTC style, the tracks are available in full, with official backing tracks and notation/tab, and also with play-through videos for learning the lead lines.

"Every guitar hero needs a ballad," says Jan Cyrka, co-founder of JTC, "so we decided to create the first ever JTC album. We spoke to a number of the artists on our roster and asked them to compose their ultimate ballads. The result is a powerful album, full of pure emotion and drive that takes you on a journey through the minds of some of the most talented guitar players and composers I know.'" You can see a trailer video for the new album below.

The 50 minute album features brand new tracks by artists such as Guthrie Govan, Andy James, Alex Hutchings and Marco Sfogli, as well as works by Jack Thammarat, Al Joseph, Jake Willson, Sergey Golovin, Jakub Zytecki, Feodor Dosumov and SOS Editorial Director Dave Lockwood. These talented musicians draw heavily on their own experiences to compose a collection of epic and diverse ballads played with jaw-dropping technique.

A number of digital download options are available on the JTC site: the full 11-track album, the official backing tracks complete with accurate tab/notation and five bonus play-through videos, or the deluxe edition which includes both. The album is also available as a CD which can be shipped worldwide. The download is also available in most digital online stores, including iTunes. Every angle is covered, whether you are simply a listener or a guitar player.
